Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Who you're buying from
This website and the orders placed on it are operated by [Add your legal trading name], trading as Auntie's Kitchen, of Willows, Thames House, Bray, Maidenhead, SL6 2AH ("we", "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Placing an order
Our menu changes daily and quantities are limited to what we cook that evening, so an item shown as available can sell out before you check out. We'll confirm your order and a pickup or delivery time once payment is complete. A contract is formed at that point of confirmation, not before.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable VAT. A service fee and, where relevant, a delivery fee are shown separately at checkout before you pay, so the total is always clear before you confirm. We reserve the right to correct a pricing error before your order is confirmed.
4. Pickup and delivery
You choose a pickup or delivery slot at checkout. Delivery is offered only within the local area we state on the site; if your address falls outside it, we'll ask you to choose pickup instead. Please be available at the address or pickup point during your chosen slot — food that can't be handed over is treated as a missed order.
5. Cancellations and changes
Because every order is cooked fresh for a specific evening in small batches, we can only cancel or change an order before we've started preparing it. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change something. Once preparation has begun, food is a perishable, made-to-order item and can't be cancelled for a refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exempt goods made to a consumer's specification or that are liable to deteriorate quickly.
6. Allergens and dietary information
We cook in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, nuts, and other common allergens. Full allergen information for each dish is available on request before you order — see our Allergen Information page. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us before ordering rather than relying on the menu description alone.
7. Quality and complaints
If something about your order isn't right — it arrived late, wrong, or below the standard you'd expect — tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting without reasonable care, up to the value of your order. We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Using this website
You may use this site to browse the menu and place orders for yourself. All content, branding, and photography on this site belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reused without permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
